My thanks to #EURASIA, International Conference on Research in Social Science and Humanities (ICRSSH), for inviting me to deliver the ‘Keynote’ address and to Preside over this prestigious conference in Barcelona, as a conference chair and discussant.
The title of my keynote was ‘Global Crisis in Leadership – Challenges and Perspectives in the context of Employee Empowerment. What Skills do Leaders Need? How should Leaders Lead?’
In my keynote, I emphasised the call for a ‘Specialist Leader’ and described that the ‘Specialist Leader’ needs to be a ‘People-oriented’ Leader.
My keynote address was positively received and participants agreed there is a need for a ‘Specialist Leader’ in this turbulent global environment, if organisations are serious about empowering employees in their organisation.
It was a great experience and a pleasure to meet other participants and to know about their research and studies. It was a highly collaborative event and participants were keen to keep in touch after the event.
I would also like to express my appreciation to Eurasia for presenting me with the ‘Award of Honour’.
It was a pleasure to distribute certificates to all the participants who presented their paper.
